About Balkan Burger
Balkan Burger is a Johannesburg food truck operating from a red bus and serving burgers built on Serbian family recipes: a fold-over beef patty in sourdough bread with a homemade roasted red pepper sauce, a stuffed version with cheese, bacon and peppadews, fried chicken burgers and a battered brinjal vegetarian option. It trades weekly at the Prison Break Market in Midrand and delivers through Uber Eats. The bus, a pop-up stall, a mobile bar and a dessert trailer are hired out for weddings, birthdays and corporate events around Johannesburg and Pretoria, and the team also runs a garden events venue in Bedfordview.
