Balkan Burger is a Johannesburg food truck operating from a red bus and serving burgers built on Serbian family recipes: a fold-over beef patty in sourdough bread with a homemade roasted red pepper sauce, a stuffed version with cheese, bacon and peppadews, fried chicken burgers and a battered brinjal vegetarian option. It trades weekly at the Prison Break Market in Midrand and delivers through Uber Eats. The bus, a pop-up stall, a mobile bar and a dessert trailer are hired out for weddings, birthdays and corporate events around Johannesburg and Pretoria, and the team also runs a garden events venue in Bedfordview.

Black Top Street Kitchen is a black street-food trailer in Cape Town's northern suburbs. The menu mixes loaded boerewors rolls on brioche or garlic naan, Kashmiri chicken tikka skewers and Kashmiri prawns on naan, double smash burgers, crumbed wings, chicken tenders and cheesy fries. Their website lists a weekend spot on Vasco Boulevard in Goodwood (Friday to Sunday, from midday or 3pm until evening) and appearances at events such as the Bayhill Premier Cup football tournament. They also take catering and event bookings via WhatsApp or their website.

Calories Food Truck is a locally owned food truck that has served Stanford since 2020. It is fully off-grid and sells street-food style meals such as burgers, chicken wraps, crumbed chicken strips and chips, toasties and deep-fried hotdogs, with a kids meal as well. You will find it at local markets and community events around Stanford. It can also be booked for weddings, corporate functions and private parties, with the menu tailored to the occasion.
