Food trucks in Mpumalanga

Only a few food businesses are listed in Mpumalanga so far, in Mbombela and Piet Retief. The province's trucks mostly trade at events rather than fixed spots, so this guide follows the Lowveld's markets, festivals and school sports days.

Mbombela, still widely called Nelspruit, and nearby White River are where the public trading happens: the monthly Mbombela Farmers Market at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden, the Mead and Honey Festival in August, the city's coffee festival and the Uplands Christmas Market. In Piet Retief, in the Mkhondo area in the south-east of the province, the listing is a caterer that brings the spit to your function or lodge.
