Ciao Pizza

Ciao Pizza runs a wood-fired pizza trailer that takes its Neapolitan-style pizzas to food truck venues around Cape Town. The trailer has traded at Food Truck Valley in Ottery and Brackenfell, the OG Food Truck Market on Lansdowne Road and the Cape Town Halaal festival, and it is a regular at Trucks Access Park in Kenilworth, appearing on the park's September and October 2026 line-ups. Ciao Pizza states that its food is 100% halaal. The same team runs Ciao Pizza restaurants in Cape Town, and enquiries go to the Long Street number.

Earthfire Pizza

Earthfire Pizza is a Noordhoek family business that makes ceramic pizza ovens, pizza bases and frozen pizzas, and runs a wood-fired pizza food truck serving thin, crispy pizzas. The truck trades on Friday evenings at the Noordhoek Garden Emporium and has also traded at the Chilled Market at The Range in Tokai and at the Mojo Market in Sea Point. It can be booked for weddings, birthdays, festivals, schools, corporate and sporting events.

Firecraft Pizza

Firecraft Pizza makes wood-fired pizza from 72-hour fermented dough and takes it on the road for events across Gauteng. Their mobile options are a compact oven setup for smaller parties, a wood-fired pizza trailer and a restored red Bedford pizza truck with its own oven for bigger crowds. They also run mobile bars and a dessert caravan, and have a pizza shop in Noordheuwel, Krugersdorp. Johannesburg and Pretoria events are quoted online.

Ishushu Woodfired Pizza

Ishushu Woodfired Pizza runs wood-fired pizza trailers in the Helderberg, with a regular spot at Steynsrust Bridge on the corner of Irene and Old Stellenbosch Road in Somerset West. The menu centres on thin-base pizzas such as Tuscany, Ishushu Medley and Bacon Banana Rama, with build-your-own, gluten-free and banting bases, and the ovens also turn out burgers. The units are hired out for events of all sizes, recently including a golf tournament, a school concert and private parties in Cape Town, and pizzas can also be ordered through Mr D.

Love Pizza

Love Pizza is a wood-fired mobile pizzeria run by Lisa and Prince, serving large, hand-rolled thin-base pizzas that are ready in about five minutes. Its permanent food truck trailer stands next to the Friendly supermarket by the BP garage in Sun Valley, Noordhoek, open Tuesday to Sunday, with classic, gourmet, vegetarian and vegan pizzas plus gluten-free and low-carb bases. The business runs three mobile units that trade at festivals and events around the Western Cape, and they can be booked for weddings, parties, corporate functions, school events and film crews, subject to a minimum order.

Panini Bistro

Panini Bistro is a family-run business making home-made hot Italian paninis, toasted and filled to order from a trailer and stall. They trade at markets, festivals and private functions around Pretoria and further afield, with past festival stands including Innibos and Aardklop. The Cape Town business focuses on private bookings, bringing the tuk-tuk to birthday parties, driveway and pavement pizza evenings, weddings and wine estate functions in Cape Town and the Winelands, and larger events are served from a row of portable pizza ovens as well.
