About The Wok Bar
The Wok Bar runs a branded food trailer serving halaal Asian fusion street food at markets and food truck sites around Cape Town. In 2025 and 2026 it has traded at Trucks Access Park in Kenilworth and popped up at The Courtyard in Claremont, the Social Souk Night Market, the Revere Eid Market at Islamia, the Maynardville garden market and the Newlands Market. Trailer favourites include bao buns, among them a beef birria bao sold only at Access Park, the Wu Tang Can, the K-Pop Stack chicken burger, bang bang shrimp and tempura lobster rolls. The business also has a sit-down restaurant in Gardens.
